What the Backstreet Boys Cruise Taught Me About Sex, Love, and Nostalgia

The closer I get to shaping Uta into a 6-part series, its central conceit securing and increasing her celebrity, the more I think that famous human beings will do almost anything to retain their status. Often the income required to “sustain da fame” means putting oneself in increasingly ridiculous situations. The question I need Uta to answer is how low would one go; or more importantly, when did “low” become so freaking incredible.

Editors note: I’d not even have to think about paying $500 to go on a Beyonce cruise. I already have a series of water-related Beyonce puns from the floods that hit Brisbane earlier this year.
